About The Mix

This is an acoustic Song that I mixed for Evan and he was gracious enough to let me upload the session files so I could break down the mix and show you my technique.  Some may question the that there was a lot of processing going on.  The fact is when any singer/songwriter records at home, more often than not they are not set up in the most ideal situation.  It could be equipment or room factors that mess with the overall sound.  In most of these cases a lot of corrective measures have to be taken.  Take some ideas from this and hopefully it inspires you on your next mix 🙂
